FAQ
Do lash extensions fall out over a certain period?
Since each lash extension is attached to a single eyelash, they will shed naturally along with the natural growth cycle of each lash. So refills are recommended.
Will your natural lashes get harmed or damaged?
The biggest myth is that lash extensions will ruin your own lashes. They do not. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes. Be sure not to rub your eyes, tug, or pull on the extensions because this will cause lash loss and even damage your natural lashes.
If the extensions are applied properly to each individual natural lash, they will not fallout. They will naturally shed.
Can I use my face wash to wash my lash extensions?
No, face wash is made to wash your skin. It has ingredients that will cause buildup on your lash extensions. We recommend to use a lash wash.
Is it safe to get my lashes wet?
Yes. It is important to keep your lash extensions clean. Properly washing them twice a day is recommended. You can wet them 24 hours after your service.
Can I use my blow dryer to dry my extensions?
Yes, only if your blow dryer has a cool setting. Do not use any heat to dry your lash extensions. It will loosen your extensions and straighten your lashes.
Can I swim with my lash extensions?
Yes, as long as you wash right after. Chlorine and salt water will harden your lashes. Your lashes may crack off.
Can my lashes withstand humidity?
Yes, as long as you wash off your sweat morning and night. Or wash after every sweaty activity.
What will extreme heat do to my lash extensions?
Extreme heat (ex. bbqs, firepits, ovens, etc.) will singe your lashes and loosen the glue. You will need a new full set.
Can I wear makeup with my lash extensions?
Yes, as long as it is not waterproof. Take off makeup first, then wash your lash extensions with lash wash.
Why do we work over other lash artists’ work and not just do a Full Set?
We do not offer soak offs on other lash artist’s work. We do not know what products they used. In the past, we’ve tried soaking off other lash artist’s work, and it did not work. We will work over other lash artist’s work and redesign a new look. Keep in mind that this is a process and it may take a few lash refills to rehab another lash artist’s work, depending on the damages.
